Calliope Publishing Nimi+z's Creaiive Ideas The Calliope is a yearly addi- tion of literary works con- tributed by Nimitz students, put together for the enjoyment of everyone. The staff, Sandra Borgardt, Tana Campbell, Caroline Joe, Marie Mejia, Deena Miller, Dodie Moschinger, April Pinchot, Loretta Ruscher, and Paula Taylor have worked extremely hard for the publication of the magazine. Miss Rhonda Swift, sponsor of Calliope, said, I don't think the students understand that the Calliope is contributed by N imitz students. Our main goal this year was to reach the stu- dent body and sell more of our magazine. The Calliope staff does not have any officers, but each per- son puts in a lot of time and ef- fort. All art work was done by Paul Neidinger. The main fundraiser, a movie, was held in December.
