O.E.A. - Becoming Secretaries The goal of the Office Education Association is to develop voca- tional competence in office occupations. The Officers of the OEA were: Melanne McKinney, Presidentg Rene Fenton and Patricia Gorjon, Vice Presidentg Sharon Dowell, Vice President in serviceg Cynthia Benita, Secretaryg Julie French, Treasurerg and Jeannette Garza, Reporter. The Students in OEA have participated in a variety of social and service activities this year. Some of these activities include the buffet dinner for students and parents at which time officers were installed and new members were initiated, the Halloween carnival at Lane Center, and the May school-wide vocational social. Several students attended the Area V OEA Regional Contest at Alvin Community Col- lege. Marty Walker placed 5th in Accounting and Related I at the contest.
