The leading students of Nimitz High School have worked extremely hard in the past year keep- ing grades up and working on fund raisers. They have also received recognition by being allowed to park in the teachers' parking lot. The Honor Socie- ty started '81 with the induction of their new members. All of the National Honor Society students came together in December for this occa- sion. For Valentines Day the club sold candy and animals as a fund raiser. Games, food, and fun were all a part of the Honor Society's Christmas party. Sponsor, Mrs. Gaudtz and her officers arranged this party for the Honor students. The Honor Society also had a banquet at Trail Dust on April 23. The officers for '81 are: Loretta Ruscher, Presi- dentg April Pinchot, Vice Presidentg Pam Chauncy, Secretaryg Caroline Joe, Treasurer. ab Mrs. Susan Gaubtz, Mrs. Judy Smelley, and Mr. Clarence Johnson discuss the upcoming officers for the N.H.S. bl Mrs. Susan Gaubtz shows Mrs. McCallum how the game is played at the N.H.S.
