French Club Qui. Je Suis Francais Parle vous Francias? Most people wish they could speak a diffefent language and someday go to that country. A good percentage of the French students have had this ambition and have worked hard in '81 to reach it. During the year all the foreign language clubs came together for an international night with foods from their particular countries. In March the French Club went to the Galleria to eat different types of crepes at the Magic Pan. Nimitz French students were part of the Foreign Language Fair competing against other schools in the district. These students also participated in the symposium held in April. They were entered in soccer and other literary parts of French. The officers for 1981 are Emily Schneider, Leah Boomer, Martha Askins, and Anne Neidinger. ab l ....-. - 1 bl aj 1981 French Club: First Row: Martha Askins, Emily Schneider, Leah Boomerg Se- cond Row: Cindy Armstrong, Thressa Trobsugh, Ann Neidinger, David Wilsong Third Row: Judy Forbs, Robert Hamilton, Andrew Taravella, Peggy Copenhaver, Jack Mosly, Jimmy Buelow. bl Robert Hamilton does his share at selling pastries in order to raise money for the French Club. cj Leah Boomer turns to Martha Askins head to persuade her into taking a picture. 172 Organizations
