Ordnance Control is the nerve centerf, They direct and coordinate the breakout, assembly and delivery of all Weapons required to support the embarked air Wing, ship'S COIDPHUY and Marine Detachment. Strict accountability must be maintained at all times for all ordnance, Whether it be 20MM ammunition, 500-pound bombs, or the most sophisticated missiles. This task is achieved by the Ammunition Accounting Work Center. It is a demanding job with no room for error. The Quality Assurance Work Center guarantees ordnance material of the highest quality is provided as Well as ensuring consistent, quality repairs and maintenance of our equipment. They accomplish these goals by providing technical guidance and quality assurance direction through internal audits and in-process inspections.
