It is the crew's main source of low cost, high quality merchandise during at-sea periods. It also generates considerable revenue for the ship's MWR fund. Ship's Servicemen, strikers and TAD air wing personnel operate the Ship's Stores, Vending Machines, Uniform Shop, Barbershops, Laundry and the Dry Cleaning Plant. Health and comfort items, SPRINT pre-paid phone cards, gedunk, and sodas are always stocked and available in all the retail outlets. Laundry is done daily with each division and squadron on board assigned specific days when laundry will 'be done for them. The Disbursing Officer and 25 Disbursing Clerks, 10 of Whom are from the embarked squadrons, Work day and night shifts to provide 24-hour, seven-days-a-Week service to our customers. This service includes check cashing, changes to allotments, Direct Deposit processing, Split Pay Option, pay record TGVIGW, and individual financial planning.
