The personnel assigned to Ops Admin produce a variety of reportS and material designed to ensure that the ship is always ready to fulfill its operational : commitments. The division is unique in that it is composed of a variety of ratings. The Q Yeomen of Ops Admin process all operational reports, maintenance casualties and hundreds of messages each day. They type all correspondence in supports of 16 i divisions and monitor all budget funding requirements and expenditures for the if department. The Undefsea Warfare CUSWD Moduleis mission is to provide Antisubmarine Warfare CASWJ intelligence, tactics and Oceanographic environmental support to VS and HS aircrews, enabling them to detect, localize, track and if necessary, eliminate any Subsurface threat to our battle group. The professionals of the USW module are comprised of Aviation Warfare Systems Operators CAWSD and Data Processing T chnicians CDPSJ. To keep the USW Module fit to fight, DPs provide essential mission support by maintaining vital equipment on-line and linked to the Combat Direction Center. DPs also program and build mission data onto portable tape cartridge units for the S-3B aircraft's on-board computer. Additionally they are responsible for post-mission data extraction which aides in the recon- struction and analysis of each air ASW event.
