The Maintenance Manager, LT Stevens, is responsible for coordinating and managing shipboard maintenance by both ship's force and outside activities. He is also the repair coordinator for the assistance pro- vided to other ships in the battle group. Under his cog-nizance is the Quality Assur- ance Office managed by the QA Officer, CWC2 Longmire. The division is comprised of maintenance experts from a Wide range of technical areas. LT Stevens also manages the Maintenance Support Center. MSC fa- cilitates the shipis maintenance effort by providing a single point of contact for the ship systems support requirements Ctechni- cal manuals, repair parts, etc.D.
