This support consists of providing the 59.85 equipment and technical expertise to repair alrcraff components removed from the aircraft, from generators and wheel assemblies to jet engines and advanced electronics equipments. 'Technical expertise is provided by 160 ship's C0mpany and 250 air wing technicians whose Capabilities extend from diesel engines to the micro-miniature repair of electronics sub-as- Semblies., AIMD additionally manages a pool of over A1 D Department J. 5 ,sa io 3. x M X-80- no A , .9 300 pieces of ground support equipment KGSEJ which is used in the movement, servicing and maintenance ofthe embarked aircraft.
