CACCIVIO Operations Officer The mission of the Operations Department is the collection and dissemination of combat and operational information which is required to carry out the assigned tasks ofthe ship and our assigned air wing. Additionally, the Operations Officer, as head ofthe department, is responsible for the planning, coordination and scheduling of all operations and logistics functions for NIMITZ.
