CLASS PROPHECY Say, why don't we make a trip around the various classrooms and see ii we can find any oi our old McKinley pals. Gee, the halls even are modern with long mirrors at each end so that students may glance at themselves before classes. Oh no, don't tell me that Ed Lenney is a school janitor now. I thought sure he'd end up as President oi the USA. And there's Pat Leo mopping the iloor. She and Ed must have taken over Mrs. Water's and Mr. Foden's place. Say I thought the sign read Home EC room! What in the world is lim Law doing in there with an apron on, crying over a bottle of spilt milk? Wow, the biology room is sure in an uproar. No wonder, Professor Tigie Kramer is aiter one of his Hmelipius ombulus ombulus fspecie of bird? again with a butterfly net. Let's saunter down to Driver Education class and see what's doing. Well, there's Tom Lapolla teaching driver pupils in his special cars MG's no less. And of course Paul Leonard is Tom's ace mechanic. Do-re-mi, sounds like Dick Lasko is warming up the chorus and isn't that Dick Lewis and Ed Lewis teaching German and French classes? Strange things are happening! In the meantime Patty Iurich and Dolores Karovic moved down to Wakiki, bought a ranch and have made a mint raising mink. I bet they have a mink coat for every day of the week. l also hear that Iohn King finally ended up in his desired career as a lumberjack. And his colleague, Ward Kaye, has landed the job of shouting Timber when Ion tells the trees, Carol Keeney and Mary Lou Kiraly are now the chief cook and bottle washer. Also Marge Konchol and Anna Kovacich have struck out tor themselves in the mining business. that is to say gold mining, and from the latest reports they were sited near Mount Vesuvious trying to see if a volcano might contain the precious metal which they searched so diligently for. Betty Liberatore and Bev Link shouldnt mind their job oi showing visual ed films tDonald Duck, Roy Rogers etc.l to students. Nor should Mike Luich, the wizard chemistry proi whose pupils are making those famous Stink Bombs. Typing classes. now taught by Carol Lloyd and Barb Maiorca, are fully equipped with pastel-colored typewriters and pupils always type to the rhythm of music. Mary Livi and Robert Lucich, as head of the guidance departient, have added a bit oi excitement to the course by a lonely heart's club. Oh, we can't miss stopping by the shop room and see what they've added new, Oh I see glue for mending cut-off iingers. Well let's walk down to the recreation department and see what's buzzing there. Say, isn't that Paul Mandras in that cage outfit? We shoulda known he'd be back as McKinley's head coach. Have you heard anything from our pals. Paul? Well, believe it or not, Nancy Malone discovered uranium in Mr. Sharp's back yard and is now living in style in her New York penthouse.
