Graduafion Time had come seven, eighf, nine Times. Nine Times he had seen children enfering a new phase of life. How clearly he remembered ThaT day five years ago when his firsf group graduafed. He could sfill recall congrafulafing The fellow who had won The Americanship award. WhaT was his name? Tony . . . Harold . . . Pefe . . . The name escaped him buf noT The face. He would remem- ber him for a long Time To come . . . Suddenly. a familiar counfenance raced him back To realiTy. A preTTy 'liijfle damsel. Popular wiTh everybody. She had a liferary career mapped ouT and if she confinued wiTh her ambifion she mighT someday become a famous and glorious aufhor. Quickly, so quickly. she passed on To give anofher his chance.
