Homecoming Floats Rain, Rain, Go Away! But it didn ' t, and the parade of floats through town was cancelled. All the hard work was not in vain; however, for the fans were treated to a viewing of these delightful creations floating across the wet, green turf. The Victory Dance was a fitting finale to a week high in spirit that carried us through our resounding victory over Loy Norrix. Another Niles Homecoming now rests in the pages of our memory books. 1. r 1 i V ( 4e a. du i 1 1 A J Mr I O ; Homecoming Week Football Homecoming Week began on October 14, Monday being Hat day, Tuesday being Nerd Day, We dnesday Hawaiian and Shade day, Thursday Rambo and Flannel day, and Friday the traditional Blue and Gold day. The lively pep assembly on Friday helped the Mighty Vikes fire-up to consume the Loy Norrix Knights, 36- 7. It was a wonderful week for the faithful followers of the fighting Vikes. 1. Mr. Smith learns at last that these really are nerd clothes. 2. Mark Peeters ' expression goes with the clothes. 3. Beckv Bicard and P.J. .Mead in disguise. 4.
