The highlight of the Thursday night ' s performance was the junior- senior competition in which the seniors defeated the juniors 1 4 to 10. The competition was very close with the teams tied on two different occasions. The tug-of-war, which gave the seniors an additional three points, was the deciding factor of the competition. The student lead- ers were Charlie Thomas (seniors) and Bill Kubiak (juniors). T he first portion of the program was put on by the individual gym classes. One of the acts which has become tradition through the past few years was the comedy event entitled Guess the Title put on by the junior boys. This year the boys dramatized book titles, song titles, and the names of well-known television programs. Another act which has also become tradition is the senior girls ' marching drill, which was climaxed this year by the mass singing of the Niles Loyalty Song. The senior boys did calisthenics, the junior girls tap- danced and roller-skated, the sophomore girls did two dance routines, and the sophomore boys ran relays and played cage-boll.
