Each period several girls work in Mr. Zabel ' s office. Their main duties are to collect attendance slips, run er- rands, and keep the attendance books up to date. Jackie Farrell, Selva Tharp, and Margie Thomas are putting mail in the teachers ' boxes. Cory Shinehoet, Dennis Forest, Lar- ry Griffith, Mr. Lehman, Jim DeWitt, Dole Criffee, and Lorry Unger (kneel- ing). Nurses ' assistants Virginia Phillips and Barbara Colvin are helping De- iores Jann. Mr. Lehman ' s technicians ore a small but very important group. They are responsible for all the special light- ing effects and the public address sys- tem in both the gym and the audito- rium.

Student Services Library assistants Lois Jones, Elaine Lepel, and Valerie Cook ore checking out John Rasmussen ' s book. During their free periods girls work in the library checking out books, as- sisting the librarians, and helping stu- dents find books and research mater- ial. Girls that are interested in becom- ing nurses are given the opportunity to work in the Nurses ' Office and get a little practical experience. Some students work as teachers ' as- sistants and earn extra credits at the same time. Their main duties are to correct papers, run errands, and mim- eograph tests. Kay Weaver, Karen Truesdell, Bar- bara Smith, and Barbara Wood are correcting papers and putting grades in the grade book.

Junior Play Back row (I. to rJ: Roscoe Cox, Bob Payne, Don McClure, Torch Marshall, Barbara Greene. Front row: Pete Fisher, Vance Johnson, Mary Bround, Eva Mae Mumby, Barbara Vone, and Kay Sellers. Standing: Bud McComb. Handsome Tom Arsdale and his lady-killer roommate Oke Stimson, are about to graduate from college. Tom has a terrific reputation for being girl shy, the title of the junior class play which was presented on November 18 and 19. Babs Sanford, thinking that Tom hates girls, de- cides to do something about it. She changes places with the cleaning lady in order to get a chance to work on the girl-shy Tom. A romance between Tom and Babs is just blossoming when Tom ' s dad and a hometown girl enter the scene. Then complications arise ; but in the end every man has his girl, or as the audience would agree, every girl has her man. Mr. Hollenius is giving Vance Johnson, Margie For- tier, and Sharon Adams a few helpful hints. 10
