Goodbye to class quizzes, Those dear old C. Q.'s Farewell to English classes r With their exceptions to the rules. So long to speech class And iostling cafeteria lines, To geometric figures- Tangent, secant, and sine. How we'll miss government With chapters four through eleven due, And history with all its dates That no one ever knew. So long to shorthand, Never again a typing drill. No more laughing at teacher's iokes lHow we will miss Old Billll Of course there's Latin and Spanish, Agriculture, printing, and more. And doing all our homework Proved to be a chore. But gee, I'lI sort of miss The field trips we took, And there's lots of learning That didn't come from books. Plays, band, and orchestra. Clubs, and student council too, Variety Show and government day, And teams fighting for the gold and blue.
