As principal ot Niles lunior-Senior I-liah School of fourteen hundred pupils and forty-five teachers, I find my time occu- pied with a qreat variety of duties, many of whirh must be performed consistently to keep the entire system operatinq effi- ciently. It has always been my hope that these responsibilities will never make it impossible for me to qive personal atten- tion to the many pupils, teachers, and parents who daily come to my office. I derive genuine pleasure and satisfaction from the assistance I can offer to those who come, because as a principal I am interested in the present and future of every member of Niles Iunior-Senior I-Iiqh School. These are parlous times. The nation and our schools have undergone much, Individual students have had their prob' lems increased by the unrest of the times. It has been a source of satisfaction that I have been able to give to many pupils suggestions, sympathy and a willinaness to hear another's troubles which have been of value to them in mee-tinq the problems which are of vital interest to them as students, '71 L0 JN funn' .vt :'i'n
