Mary Behrens IT has been said that the memory of some friend who is no longer with one physically can lead one on to higher planes of living in the mental and moral life. Mary Isabelle Behrens. a member of our class, died on October 19. 1927. Mary had always been an active and loyal member of the class, both in athletics and scholarship. She was a member of Miss Wilson ' s advisor} ' , and at one time held office as secretary in the O. C. A. Club. After being ill a part of her junior year and all the sum- mer, Mary came back to school, entering as much as possible into the school ' s activities. Her loyalty to Xiles High and to her class is something worth while for us all to remember. We who are leaving this year can apply it to our college or commercial or home work.
