Q' A 1 I ,l llElllCATl0l As a means of expressing our thanks to Miss Alma Richhart and Mr. W. E. Bereman we wish to dedicate The Panther of 1956 to them. Together they have 77 years of teaching service at R. C. H. S. Mr. Bereman began teaching at R. C. H. S. in 1909. Miss Richhart began in 1925. Both are graduates of R. C. H. S. We are extremely grateful for all the en- couragement and enthusiasm which they have given to students in the past. It is our hope that in the years to come they may find the time to do all of those things which they have wanted to do. MISS ALMA RICHHART Miss Richhart was graduated from Reno Community High School in 1911. She spent 2 years at Nickerson College and 2 years at Winfield. After finishing college she taught at Lindsborg, Ada, Ashland, and Osborne, Kansas. Miss Richhart became a member of the R. C. H. S. faculty in 1925, teaching Normal Training for a number of years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern College, majoring in language and history. The past several years she has taught three classes of mathematics and two of English. MR. WILLIAM EVERETT BEREMAN Mr. Bereman was graduated from R. C. H. S. in 1909. During his Junior and Senior years, he was a student assistant teacher in Shorthand and Typing. He attended Nickerson College one year continuing his student teaching job during that year and started his full time teaching in 1910. During summer vacations he attended Kansas University and Emporia State and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Emporia State. Teaching Mathematics and Science, has been his major responsibility during his 46 years of services. He has been vice-principal of the High School since 1920.
