...ff 'Q DANIEL JOSEPH MCDONALD Born July 30 1935 Entered September 1950 Since his entrance in the third form Mac has literally bowled us over with his inexhaustable energy For three years the varsrry football team has benefited from his immense spirit and hard charging This year Dan was appointed Co chairman of the Dance Committee his fondness for any social gathering making him a natural selection A position on the advertising staff of the VERDIAN keeps Mac busy when he is not working for the Student Council the Forum and the Glee Club A trip to Mexico awakened in Mac an avid interest rn things Hispanic and now he enqoys the friendship of most of Butfalos Spanish colony Dan s interest in other people and o vitality to match his size unsure his success studying international relations at Princeton Class Officer 52 Student Council 54 Football team 52 53 54 Track team 53 54 VERDIAN stat? 54 Charities Committee 52 Dance Committee 53 Co chairman 54 Glee Club 52 53 54 Forum 53 54 Study Hall Proctor 54 THOMAS IRVING MCElVElN JR Born Aprrl19 1936 Entered September 1950 One of Nichols most cooperative students Tom has supported with efforts our publications athletics and activities As Business Manager of t e Nichols News he has been instrumental in making this years publication t e most financially successful in recent years For the last two seasons Tom as aided Mr Hyatts squad with his soccer skill In addition Tom has contributed to the Hockey Dance Committee as well as the Glee Club. And Toms serious argumentation leavened with rich humor has made him a valuable member of the Forum. Whether the subject under discussion concerns McCarthyism or racial problems lPunch leaves little unsaid about the merits or weaknesses of the topic. Tom will be welcome at any college he chooses.
