Page Four 25th ANNIVERSARY How many cherished memories can be stored in twenty- five volumes of The Log! Yet no senior class alone would claim credit for the en- tire production of its volume. The credit for the twenty-five years existence of The Log must surely be shared with hun- dreds of individuals who have cooperated so splendidly and wholeheartedly in various ways. The Log is truly an exam- ple of the motto: In union there is strength. The Class of 1961 follows the footsteps of previous class- es in expressing deepest appreciation for every service ren- dered in helping them to present to their readers, this, the twenty-fifth volume of The Log. The Log had its beginning in 1936 with Mr. G. B. Sum- mers, as faculty adviser, thus, the Class of 1937 published the first volume of The Log, Mr. Summers accepted work in Louisiana in 1940, after which, Mrs. Luther A. Ligon became faculty adviser. Since space is limited, we do want to present the editors who have served so faithfully.
