The Sophomores began their year with the election of the following officers: Kenneth Kinney, preeidentg Raymond Berry, vice preeldentg Joanne Williams, secretary Bill Moore, treasurer, Donald Cotton and Calvin Cornell, Student Council represent- atives, and Joanne Williams, class reporter. We have had a good year, with our cap- able advisor, Miss Storm. Throughout the year our class has staged many money making activities to raise enough money for our class r1ngs,our first being a Sophomore tag day held at Thanks- giving time. After this we sold manlcuree, shoeshines, and candy. Later a magazine dr1ve,and of course the Sophomore Hop,were put on. Even though some of these activ- ities were not too successful we are hoping we will obtain enough money to buy our class rings. 25
