Typing I students compete in one minute timed writings to see who will win the Hot Rod race. Competing in the race are, first row: Nancy Hayesy second raw: Penny Nichols, Jo Ann Groves and Dolores Price, third row: Norma Brown, Thelma Martin and Ruth Lewisg fourth row: Marilyn Grose, Mary Jane McHenry, Gene Vickers and Eugene workmen, rtmt raw: wsae Rogers. Becoming competent secretaries and businessmen are the goals of the students in the commercial classes. At first, typing was peck, erase and try again. Shorthand was iust curly cues but after two years we mastered the technique. After graduation, we will take our first step into the boss's office, bringing with us the know how we ac- quired in the office practice, short- hand and typing classes, Thank goodness, the teachers encouraged us to learn the right way. We Acquired Valuable Business Training Seeing business in action are these Business Practice students who visited the Nicholas County Bank.
