Director of Guidance Services Her work consists of the usual duties of a coun- selor such as securing information about indi- vidual students, interviewing students, keeping accumulative records, carrying out a planned testing program, and working with the adminis- tration and individual staff members in an effort to give personal, vocational and educational help to students. MRS. BARBARA STRICKLAND As secretary of her alma mater Mrs. Strickland is always efficient and courteous, and fills an important part of the administration. Some of her duties include making deposits, writing checks, taking care of the bookstore, carrying out school correspondence, and keeping Mr. Wells' work in order. The time is 11:45. The bell rings. Out of every door students scramble to be first in line. The fragrant odor of delicious food greets them as they line up in front of the cafeteria. Inside, the cooks lwith the help of a few studentsl have been busy all morning preparing lunch for hungry students. All who ate here were sure they had gotten the proper amount of vitamins. Mrs. Pat Backus, left, and Mrs. Portorhee White, right, are aided by Jennings Shaver and Dolly Tinnell during the 10:45 period.
