Eyrie Times Keeps Students Informed The school newspaper, known for many years as the WAR EAGLE changed its name to the EYRIE TIMES. To keep the student body informed of the events taking place, they published 12 issues of the newspaper. Deboters Trovel to U.W.F. ond F.S.U. The Debate Team debated the National High School Debate Topic and resolved that governmental financial support for all public elementary and secondary education in the United States should be provided exclusively by the Federal Government. They participated in the University of West Florida Tournament with 41 other teams from Alabama, Florida, and Nlississippi. Karl Nloore, Steve Wright, Billy lVlosteferis, and Ken lVliller placed third. In the District I Debate Tournament at Florida State University Billy Nlosteferis and Ken lVliller placed third, Karolyn Nlanchuta and Don Jarvinen placed fourth.
