- Seniors % Commencement exercises for the Class of 1965 were held on May 28, at 8:00 p.m. The processional, Music For A Ceremony,” was played by the Niantic-Harristown High School Band. The invocation was given by Father McGrath of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. First Honor Students, Kathy Orrison and Steven Parish, gave their timely addresses to the large crowd. Awards were presented to a number of outstanding graduates by Mr. Hickey and the faculty. Following the bene- diction, the Seniors marched out to the recessional music, Pomp and Circumstance.” The graduates received parents and other guests at a reception held in the cafeteria.
