She was chosen by her class and the faculty to receive the award, which is based on leadership, citizenship, dependability, and patriotism. As the winner of this award, Carolyn and her mother were guests of the Daugh- ters of the American Revolution at a tea on March 6, where Carolyn received a pin and certificate of award.
