organize miters of journalism The Allen Fort Chapter of the Quill and Scroll is an international honorary society for high school journalists. Its purpose is to recog- nize schools and students doing outstanding work in journalism and to encourage individual interest and initiative in writing for journalism and allied fields. The publication advisors are Mrs. Ash, Miss Cole, and Mr. Rogers. Requirements for membership are: 1. Candidates must be from the Newspaper or Yearbook Staff. 2. Must be juniors or seniors. 3. In the upper third of their class. 4. Have done superior work ip writing, editing, or business management. 5. Must be recommended by the publica- tion advisors. 6.
