Stag line to the right. MOONLIGHT AND ROSES, the Junior-Senior prom, was held April 24, 1954, in the N.H.H.S. Gymnasium. A dinner prepared by the junior class mothers was served in the band room. Dancing to the music of Ben Bradley's orchestra was enjoyed throughout the evening. The gym was transformed into a garden of moonlight and roses, the theme of the prom. After dancing until mid- night, the party moved on to Illiopolis to the movie. At dawn the juniors and seniors enjoyed a breakfast at school. This brought to a close the most delightful first all-night prom. MOON LIGHT AND ROSES It takes two to tango. Juniors and seniors having a wonderful time at MOONLIGHT AND ROSES.
