This year we approach a portrait of the second word University . To supplement our young talents, we have turned to that most famous work of john Henry Cardinal Newman, The Idea of a University. Hardly could we convey the abundantly rich heritage of truth which is the Newman l h e of the Niagaran staff classic. It is, however,the humb e op this attempt, inadequate though it be, will enrich our that understanding of the ideal of university and of that reflection of the ideal which has been so much our life these few years, - N.U.
