CDGHPIFT' NE WTOWN MIDDLE SCHOOL -- ---R? 1 984 ODYSSEY od. ys. se y ad-a-sa n.: A long wander- ing usually marked by many changes of fortune We, the Newton Middle School gradu- ating class of 1984, complete our od- yssey. We have spent the last three years in this school and now it is time for us to go. The end of this odyssey is the beginning of another. We will use the experience we gained at the Middle School to help us face the problems and challenges we will meet in the future. ODYSSEY 1984 DEDICA TION Wag X Vu 'w-w-....s. MR. JOHN 5 WEENE Y For thirty-six years Mr. John Sweeney has taught for the Newtown School System. Throughout this time he has chaperoned the dances, the concerts and other student activities. In the coming year he plans to retire. In order to show our appreciation for his commitment to us we are dedicating this, the 1984 Newtown Middle School Yearbook, to Mr. John Sweeney-a teacher who has taught us, helped us, and earned our respect. 4+ go 'Y . 0 I ' 1 Q .
