Those of you in the Senior Class look forward eagerly to the many kinds of experience which will be yours upon Commencement. Those of you who are still undergraduates, will soon enter another class with all its trials and adventure. Such a record as lies within these pages, a record of fun and of serious work, will enable you, as beneficiaries of the American public school system, to evaluate the advantages you have received. It offers you the opportunity to look back with a smile over what has already passed, and may inspire you to keep smiling as you work with a zeal for the preservation of a similar kind of opportunity for those who come after you.
