Coach Christopher Doc Jones had one goal, to have all members be able to compete in any event at any time, Captain Richard Ward cited Bio Yook as having improved significantly, Jeremy Gross, a junior, broke the school lOO yard butterfly record. Captain Shelley Jefferson ran at Divisionals in the 200 meters and Captain Magda Kornitzer ran the mile at Divisionals and placed first. Shaughnessy Daniels ran in the state meet in the l OO meters. The track team's 4xl I0 relay team, consisting of Shelley, Shaughnessy, Tara, and Lilly, also went to states. The Outdoor Track team had a 4-2 winning season with leadership from tri-captains Shelley Jefferson, Magda Kor- nitzer, and Saba McCrary. Con- tained is work done both in and out of class, in the mediums with which I am Ior was at the timel most comfortable. As I have a great love for subjects of a fantasy nature, I felt it was fitting to incorpo- rate this love into my drawings and paintings. I had first begun with a desire to illustrate comic books, but slowly found that there are great limitations to this form of art. Presently, I would like to illustrate book covers and the like. Most of these works are relatively small - I generally work on eight by eleven inch paper lusually in pencill - but in the near future I plan to go to much larger sizes, hopefully eventually working in oils on large canvases. Next year I will attend Bard College in New York. I will major in art, and perhaps take some courses in art education. In my sophomore year I took Art Minor which involved some drawing, but that is as far as I went in the academic side of art 5 most of what I do goes on in my own room.
