Volleyball 1 Ending their season with a 2-0 win over Newton South the volleyball team, 8-10, was one victory short of their goal of .500. But coach Jay Cradle said she was pleased. Every single player had improved 100 percentf' she said. Next year we will be a winning team, and the year after that we will be dynamite. I think we'll make the tourney. Captain Linda Schnall said, We learned to work together as a team. Most important, we learned how vital moral and verbal support is on and off the court? Schnall added that the team's improvement showed in their record. We were 1-17 last year, she explained. This year, most of our losses were close, while last year we weren't a factor in many of our matches. The team's passing, hitting and serving has significantly improved, according to Schnall.
