MR. H. W. SCOTT gfafionmasfefzs Leaving high school and going out into the world is a pretty big step. Some of us will go to college, some to jobs, and some to home life. To us who are going, leaving high school is leaving a safe, secure part of our lives behind us for the experiences and even adventures of, as the old saying goes, a life of our own, The knowledge we have gained from the administrators and teachers will serve as a considerable boost on our way in the world. Under the guidance of the present administration, our school has up- held the high scholastic standards, and tra- ditions it has always carried. MARGARET ORPIN Our Senior Class, like many others be- fore us, has been lucky in having such a competent and understanding staff to direct us through the time spent in high school. It has been said, you never forget the won- derful years spent in high school, and we wonlt. We think Mr. M. D. Morris, our principal, and Mr. II. W. Scott, our superintendent, all the teachers and coaches, deserve high recognition for their fine work. We also .would like to mention the long hours put in by the office girls, Mrs. Florence Blanken- ship in the Senior High Office and Miss Margaret Orpin in the Superintendent's Office. Thanks from the graduating class of 1953. 99 FLORENCE BLANKENSHIP 'vw MR. M. D. MORRIS P Hg
