The Senior Supper this year was centered around an Italian theme. Seniors enjoyed Italian pizza and submarine sandwiches which they served themselves, and the faculty as well as the students enjoyed the square dance which followed. The hrst assembly this year was in the form of a press conference, where the class committee presented its ambitious plans for the year. Their major goal was to raise a fifteen hundred dollar scholarship for a selected senior. The class worked hard to raise this money by supporting school-wide football dances and holding a Senior Work Day. The class succeeded in bucking tradition in plans for its Prom by not holding it jointly with Newton South High School. In short, rather than relying on tradition, the Senior Class used imagination in this year's planning. og. ff ,i V 5? .Sf mi' ' ' rg f I 1-351: 1 . . . ., . if - ,Aug -f. ,P f 'S' 60' MISS MARY GIANFERANTE Senior Class Adviser - - ' V Q Img! -U - ,. ..

.. 93? f--'Q Mr. Graham Easson H ozzrelmziter ,,g Mrs. Mary F. Rousseau Home Aide Adams House has been combating the psychological problem of alienation. We want to make the students feel that this is flaeir council, and that these are fbeif activi- ties, says Adams House Council President Bob Bullock. In order to come closer to the students, the Adams House Council was completely reorganized this year. The Civics Committee was abolished, and replaced by nine spec- ialized committees involving many more students: Entertainment, Commons Room, Assembly, House Improvements, House Service, Community Service, Fund Raising, and Publicity. By keeping all of these communities working Adams house succeeded in in- volving the students in the activities of their house. HOUSE COUNCIL FIRST ROW: R. Stam, L. Marcus, Secretary' C.
