RILEY HOUSE There are too many words in prose, and they take up alto- gether too much room. Edwin Arlington Robinson So, with apologies to Keats, we give you only an ode. Ode on Riley House Thou most spirited of houses, Thou who doth control the lower floors of building two, the green around the path- ways numerous. Thou to whom so many of us t give three years, Thou. Green is thine air and round is the pedestal upon which the leprechaun rests. But more than this, is life within thy halls, smile- fringed gaiety. Fair house, of green, and orange and black, who didst originate the sale of Crumbles Golden, And didst sport the day of Smiley Riley. Bold House, who entered sports with challenge in. Who came and left each game with grim spirit. Bold House. She cannot melt away. She cannot be forgotten while they fill the house with green spirit and responsibility.
