Homecoming 1979 Homecoming week began Monday Oct. 1 thru Saturday Oct. 6 commencing with a Homecoming dance Saturday evening. Activities for the week were: Monday: the fight song was pTayed over the audio during the beTT ringing: Tuesday: the students wore red and gray to show mercy for LaBrae5 Hed- nesday: the students brought their tigers: Thursday: everyone wore orange and bTack to show their schooi spirit. Friday: the cheerieaders distributed signs to the students and facu1ty to And wear. UnfortunateTy the bonfire was rained out but the cheerieaders Ted a spirited pep raTTy Friday afternoon. The highTight of the gaTa week took piace Friday evening when Chris Hovember, escorted by Jim Mace, was crowned the 1979 Homecoming Queen by Denise Perry C1978 Queenj. The Footbaii game showed our Footbaii piayers as being aggressive and spirited to the finaT gun. The week ended with the Homecoming dance Saturday evening heTd at the MiddTe SchooT from 8:30 - 11:30 with the Gary Adair Trio providing the music For the evening.
