OUR LADY’S) NEWTON CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL PRESENTS FOREVER 1936 is MR. DABENIGNO |! The Class of 1986 is proud to dedi- cate it’s yearbook to a man who has been more than our teacher and coach, he has been our friend. This man is Mr. Don Dabenigno. During our four years at Newton Catholic Mr. Dabenigno has always been patient, giving, and most of all understanding. He truly cares about Newton Catholic and it’s students. When we leave in May, we will take with us all he has given us. He is an exceptional man and has touched our lives in a special way. Good Luck!! Mr. Dabenigno Rev. The Freshman Class this year was spirited and full of enthusiasm. As the months progressed, they learned to fit into the Newton Catholic community and become comfortable with the upperclass- men, teachers, and each other. As the years go on they will enjoy the many conforts of being upperclassmen. Good Luck to the Freshmen. Sincere — The 1986 Student Council was well led by President Pompeo DeRubeis and Vice-President Linda Amicangioli. Through their concentrated efforts and the efficient assistance of Secretary Joanne Abruzzi and Treasurer Paul Lydon, the organization was quite successful. Through car washes, dress-down days, dances, and the sale of Christmas flowers, a great deal of money was raised for the school’s benefit. The 1986 Student Council was one of the most active school organizations and served to make Newton Catholic a better place. serge enero YEARBOOK The 1986 Yearbook staff worked many long hours to produce a high quality book including the first Color Senior Section.
