Fall Term Ends, Too Soor Members of the Cafeteria Committee decorated the Christ- mas tree, which is put up in the lunchroom each year. The school year continued, for some students quickly, and for others more slowly. Christmas vacation, with all its excitement, passed and exams became the major worry for everyone. The spring semester brought many new activities, such as the As exams approached, many students found need to burn the midnight oil. Marilyn Payne studies diligently for her history exam. juniors’ first attempts at College Boards. Soon the 1964-1965 term was ended, and the students of Newport News High left their school, some for the last time. “Season’s Spirits”, a semi-formal dance sponsored by the senior class, was enjoyed by the juniors and seniors and their dates.
