TO ACQUAINT US WITH KNOWLEDGE, Miss Mary Margaret Lane As head of the Guidance Department, Miss Mar- garet Lane helps seniors with their decisions about the future and supplies them with information about educational and vocational opportunities. She also administers school-wide tests and interprets the re- sults to teachers, parents, and pupils. Mr. Thomas O. Keesee Handling the disciplinary problems, checking transcripts to be sent to other schools and colleges, and making out school schedules are the main duties of our assistant principal, Mr. Thomas 0. Keesee. His vast knowledge and sense of humor cause him to be greatly admired by the student body. Miss Ethel M. Gildersleeve “I am busy all the time — I’ve never made a work- study of my days — it might be interesting if I could find the time,” stated Miss Ethel Gildersleeve, Dean of Girls. She sponsors the F.T.A., the Student Coun- cil and its sixteen committees, administers the N.N.H.S. Scholarship Fund, and formulates the daily bulletin. 24
