AND COMPETED Couples who are “going steady” such as Brownie Shaffer, Eugene Turner, and Betsy Barnhouse, Gerald Schweida are often seen spending time with each other in the halls of N. N. H. S. “Lovely to look at, delightful to see,” describes Miss Faith DeArment, the 1960 Band Sweetheart, as she is presented with a bouquet of roses from Mr. Maid- ment, Principal of N. N. H. S. Some little pigs go to market, but Red Crossley, our number one supporter, brings his pigs with him to the annual Turkey Day game. Anne Andrews, moderator, thanks Representative Thomas Downing and Mr. Richard M. May for ap- pearing in a congressional candidates’ debate pre- sented by the Speech Arts Club before the student body. “I don’t care how you vote as long as it’s my way,” say Bobby Dick and Phillip Gold to Mary Lou Staton, who is on her way to the polls to vote in the school’s mock election. “We’ll never forget our lunch money again,” say Betty Overman, Bob Saunders, Milton Eason, and Claudia Steele.
