She is a friend to all re- quiring individual guidance and her deep under- standing and patience make it easy for students to confide in her. Being advisor to the Student Coun- cil also requires much of her time and patience. Our principal, Mr. George J. McIntosh, supervises the general administration of Newport News High School. He plans the curriculum and sees that the necessary changes are made, approves all school activities, and has charge of planning all func- tions concerned with Newport News High School. KEESEE Our assistant principal, Mr. T. O. Keesee, is a well- known person around Newport News High School. He is always busy working out school schedules, and handling disciplinary problems.
