Not only does Miss Williams teach the French language, but she familiarizes her pupils with French customs and other aspects of gai paris. The class is con- ducted in French, and each student has his own French name. This strengthens one's ability to con- verse in French. MISS FREE explains the activities carried on in the old Roman Colos- seum, going baclc to the days of the colorful charriot races.
