TO THE DR. NELSON is the co-ordinator of the entire Nev port News school system. His job includes securin teachers and educational materials, and supervisin the administration of the school system. F CULT Y Mrs. Ann Perkins Scruggs has served this community faithfully and excellently through her years of teaching in our high school. Head of the English Department, she has been a model to both teachers and students in her ingenuity in organizing and presenting subject matter and in directing groups. Independent in thought and convincing in speech, she has demonstrated the importance of self-reliance.
