Aided by Veteran Actors Dear Seniors: One phase of your life is complete. The vacancies you leave will be taken by countless others but the memories are left behind to challenge them in an attempt, some day, to reach your place in life. You are entering another phase of life. In it you will meet strangers, make friends, work, establish homes, and be- come a part of your community, What part you play in thi drama is entirely up to you! Yours can be a leading part oi merely a minor one but be sure it is well played no matter how great or how small! Remember, nothing can be better than your best. J. C. RANGE MR. J. C. RANGE The Class Sponsors Seniors of '53: Congratulations upon having achieved the long awaited and aspired goal of completing your high school education. Although many of you have more years of school ahead, the majority of you are now to be on your own. Many people try to advise and alarm you by assuring you that the adult world into which you emerge is cold and cruel. You have experienced this world. Though in school you have lived a somewhat protected life, this is life. You have worked hard at times and relaxed or loafed at other times, you have been happy and sad, inspired and disgusted, successful and disappointed. Life was abbreviated here, yes - but real. Did you find it cold and cruel? Few of you found it so. lf you did, could the fault lie within you instead of without? Just as a lamp will brighten the darkness, a flame will warm the cold surroundings or a small amount of matter will tend to fill a vacuum, so you can brighten, warm, and fill the world around you. The world around you cannot remain dark nor cold, nor empty if you are filled with spiritual light, warmth and affection for others, and enthusiasm for living. l challenge you to live life to the utmost. My every good wish for your success. Sincerely, PATSY DALE Miss PATSY DALE
