Miss Mattie Phillips, our Dean of Girls, has the respect and admiration of every student and faculty member. Her duties have been many and varied in her years here at Newport High School, Although she is leaving us this year, she will be greatly missed and we know that the footprints she leaves are examples for all to follow. Mr. John Collins is Dean of Boys and writes re-admission slips for each boy, who has been absent, upon his return to school. He teaches Geography, History, and Civics.
