LUC.UCj 7 53:2 in the upkeep of our high school the improvement would be astonishing. Let us not stop with keeping the building clean but let us be neat and orderly' albout our own desks. It must be admitted that a stranger walking into N. H. S. would be poorly impressed with the students and it stands to reason that any building which is cluttered, dirty and untidy casts a reflection of its inhabitants. My suggestion for improx'ement would be to make an official housekeep- ing hour. Perhaps an appropriate time for this would be Friday afternoong during this time everyone should clean desks. wash boards, etc. But remember, this time would be wasted it no consideration were given during the week. It takes little ettort and goes a great way toward a happy and secure life. If cooperation could start in the home and grow like an epidemic via the chil- dren, the teachers, instructors, and advisers could he a greater help to those same students. Many children get oil to a bad start with the wrong outlook on life.
