Eldora Wade Blaine 'Littlefield Iean Paul Fraser Carl Braley Our faculty adviser is Mrs. Madeline Hall. The members of the class who ordered their class rings last spring received them late in the fall. Our candidates for king and queen of the Newport VVinter Carnival were Leah Phipps and Blaine Littlefield. The members of our class who participated in the winter sports were Thelma Patchell, Carrie Sewell, WVillis Cetchell, jean Paul Fraser, and Lauren Small. An amusing minstrel show, under Mrs. 1Monoghan's direction, is being planned and rehearsed and is sched- uled to take place some time in March. Tryouts for Junior Prize Speaking were held on February 25th. Girls se- lected W61'e Olga Haapanen, Doris Kimball, Leah Phipps, Eldora Wade, and alternate, Colleen Clement. The .boys who were judged as best were Roland Butcher, Jean Paul Fraser, Allan Hubbard, VVilfbur Miller, and alternate, Neal McKenzie.
