Dear Friends, Having the honor of being the President of the Class of 1987 of Newport High School has been both a challenging and memorable position. Although the past six years are ending, what was accomplished during those years will never be forgotten by myself or my classmates. Some of the more significant and fondest memories were the transformation of the cafeteria into a picturesque ballroom for our Sophomore Tea, the Junior-Senior Prom and after-prom party, the construction of our annual floats, and especially the experience and knowledge gained from our class unity, spirit, and friendship. Above all. 1 will cherish the diversity and individuality of my classmates, which enriched the lives of everyone, and also the support they offered to each other.
